Here's my little collection of Honchos. The top bike was being converted to the new and revolutionary 'Fly' 100 class when the shot was taken. The red bike is a complete but rough parts bike that'll probably donate it's gizzards to the Steens mini bike project. The green bike is a remarkably original little bike that's being very slowly rebuilt as a registerable pitbike for my mate. The bottom photo is my uuber trick Torque Engineering pipe that'll also go on the Steens. I've also got a dinged up race kit pipe that'll go on the Fly "racer".

Some great looking bikes and projects, thanks for sharing.

obviously I miss some things in VMX world.

Is "fly class 100" a happening thing Firko? or is it going to be?

MickDe the Suzi 100 you knocked back is a TC100 dual range model (1973/4) I seem to have collected ?been donated...eight... of them ::)
Firko I found a Hodaka Ace 100 engine whilst tiding (haa haa :D) up my shed you can have it if you want. Tim754 ( will bring it HBBB on the Saturday )

Thanks Tim. I got all excited about it for a moment, when I saw the 100 fly class.

I have to return back there soon with his freshened up Monty engine. He is a life long tattoo artist friend.
I have started dreaming of the Suzie as payment :o Instead of the agreed Maico tatt and CZ/Jawa tatt.

To add to this saga, I've just found a photo of a WEBCO head for a HODAKA fitted to a TS100 motor. Apparently it fits straight on.

I don't know off hand if the head stud pattern on a TS90 and TS100 are the same, the cylinder stud pattern is different.

According to Alpha-sport and ZEDDER the 90 and 100 heads are different. I have both heads here but won't be able to get to them till the weekend at the earliest.

I wondered about that as I did see this Hodaka head on Ebay US last week when Mark was asking about the availability of Webco heads for Honcho's.

The Webco Hodaka 100 head will bolt on to the Suzi "100" Having both said items in my possession* I checked.  Looks bloody pug ugly as always..........................

What an interesting quirk..the Hodie head fitting the Honcho. Maybe using a stock Hodaka head on a Suzuki would pass for a trick Suzuki head ;D.....That's the devious way my tight arse mind works ::)

While it will fit the TS100 but I don't believe it will fit the TS90 but I'll dig out both later and compare to be sure and certain. Thing I don't like about Webco heads is the weight..they weigh heaps and the extra weight is carried high obviously. Whilst they do keep the engine in the optimum operating temps longer they also take much longer to cool down after the fact when compared with a stock item. 6 of one and half dozen of the other, the bling factor is way up there but I'd rather mod/reshape a stock head. Another quirk, my TS125R runs Harley Davidson Baja 125 piston and rings ;)
