RM500 Oversize Pistons???

dont know why people want to keep rod charts a secret mate..heres a couple i found www.italkit.com www.rectificados-bellavista.com and www.jokersracing.com they dont have every make and model listed but could be a help even some of the jet ski rods on jokersracing...if all fails prox give them a call they faxed me a list of rods close to what i need with measurements

I was going to do that, but I figured that I would be met with resistance and reasons why to not do that.

I will probably be not doing the RM500 pistons at this time, doesn't seem like anybody is interested. Maybe later in the year.

I need a .25 o/s piston kit or even a ring would do,can anybody help?

0.75mm o/s rings for a 465 would be good .

I can't do just a reproduction ring, the order quantity is too high to be cost effective.

So did anyone solve the problem of the RM500 Rod

The only  solutions I have heard of is using a tm400 rod,but you have to bore the piston pin hole out to suit the larger little end pin size the tm 400 uses which I think is 20mm not sure, this info came from Rick Horvat in America as he has done this conversion with success.Or you can put a complete rm465 crank in the 500 casings as the 465 rods are still available but they are about 580.00 US just for a rod if you look up Alpha sports.And also the big end pins for the 500 are unavailable as vintage suzuki have sold out of them and not restocking at this stage. Other than these options us rm owners will just have to wait a while as someone will make them sometime we all hope!

Use the KTM 360/380 rod with a 1.00mm base gasket. Problem solved or is that too simple?
