I think an air filter would be a neat addition for a dirt bike  ::) :-[.

Depends on what you call heavy. Heavy for me is big Harleys, Euro cruisers and other road bikes. I cant stand heavy bikes like that which are awkward to move. No that BSA wont be as light as a 1970's 2 stroke but i dont consider it would be a massive struggle to manouver it around during its intended purpose unless you were a 10 year old kid. Thats what people raced back in the 40's-60's though. I think it looks kinda good.

I love the patina 8) - and it might be heavy but would make a great 'Green Lane' trail bike (as set up) - once you had got it started of course  ::).

Here's a cool Goldy that actually sees racing action. My UK friend Ben (Flower Pot Racing on this forum) races this cool original period Goldy.
