I take it you mean Sammys bikes had Bully internals-I thought for a sec you were saying the Red Hunter was a cleverly disguised two-stroke pre-production Bultaco special :D :D :D
So Bully internals could work very well for trials back then but how do I get mine to handle table-tops and double jumps?? :o

Yep, all of those old Beeza'a (and Ariel's) are really nice but my idea of a cool looking dirt BSA is this............pity about the rims.

The late Bob Neilson's Goldie Hard tail built by Tom Horton.

Those old Ariel and Tiger series singles were great bits of machinery, all real performers. If my memory is correct they were all from that genious of design, Val Page.
I wish I never sold my '37 model Tiger 70-Carey special.
cheers pancho

At least you sold one Pancho-too many were taken to the tip FFS
What is the general concensus on the std frames and running gear of the Ariels?? I have been told the rear hubs were fragile.
There is a guy up here that used to run one at Nudgee at the VMX but not sure how to contact him.
I have found a guy that knows a fair bit about the motors tho-thank you Davey Crocket.

My old friend John Kirchner from Condell park had a similar machine.
 'Clubman Gold Star'
G.P. carby,no idle stop, 21" front wheel, insanely high first gear, quite a "note thrower" exhaust, complete with the 'goldie tweety bird' out the exhaust on closed throttle.
Absolute hopeless beast as a commuter, probably why he sold it! then bought a Harley.
 Haven't seen him since.
