cr250 what year?

I guessed 84 on the way the disc is at the front but I am not an expert on these or much else.

sweet no I cant really sell my mate is a scrap metal bloke this was heading for the junk yard so I said don't do that I will do that up would be a little bit rude to sell it for more than I paid and I don't want to sell it for $50.

Check the shrouds. That is the give away as they are that shape for the one year only.

OK, well it may well be an '84 but is has an 85 motor in it because it has the ATAC inspription on the barrel and not on the power valve cover,  it also has '85 swingarm, defenitely an '84 tank on it however.

also has blue shock spring which is right for 85-87, 84 models had red shock springs.

Yes! I looked at the shrouds and front disc as they are '84. But you are right too. Its the 84/85 model 
Makes more sense that its an '85 with some '84 parts on it.

so it is a bit of a bastard thing what should I do with it is it pre 85 eligable or not.

I will put up the frame and motor numbers.
