Good luck Hoony. I wish I knew how to use an electrical meter and could test these things, but my brain power lacks full throttle. I think I would need to spend a day watching someone and writing down what they do and how the the whole damn thing works.
I can understand how a 2 stroke motor works because I can see it in motion but electrics are a different ball game, a bit like auzzie rules??

Hilly, i get the stator today from Clarkie (long story) so if i can get some shed time tomorrow in amongst the paperwork i have to do it may be a goer. :)
