Second Annual Klub Kevlar Show'n'Shine.
« on: October 08, 2010, 11:32:00 pm »
We've had some discussion amongst ourselves regarding our next Show'n'Shine and have decided to not run the event in November as I'd previously indicated. We've decided to hold the event in March 2011 before the racing season gets underway to encourage participants to show of any new bikes and to take advantage of the pre season competitor enthusiasm.
We figured that November was a bit late in the year and that many enthusiasts would be a little jaded and looking forward to having a break to revamp themselves and their bikes. By holding it in March everyone is fresh and it gives a great opportunity to promote upcoming race meetings and events.

I hope this change hasn't inconvenienced anybody, if we have we sincerely apologise. I think the March date will suit us, the VMX calendar and the venue much better.

Shane....Of course you can bring your pre 85 bikes down. There were plenty last year and we'd encourage more at the next one. Because I've argued that the time isn't right to introduce pre 90 in NSW YET, it certainly doesn't mean we don't like the bikes or the class. That's one of the misconceptions that riles me a bit. Bring 'em on down Shane and we'll make sure it's a big party to make your trip worthwhile.

Sadly I won't be able to defend my Dunger title.
The old beast has begun a re-incarnation of sorts, to turn her into a pre65 weapon for next years Dirt Track titles in QLD.
I'll bring her along anyway in whatever stage she's at.

Great Firko, seen the shots of last years and looks like a great event.

Sorry if my for posts come over the wrong way I know you have an open mind Firko but I also know you are not much of a Honda Man :D

Both Brett (brother) and myself like to talk as much as we like to ride so we will be there.

I will have the Magoo bike with me (with corrected number) and a number of others as well.

So keep me in the loop Firko.

Hey will I have you Firko, great artical last issue in VMX re Frank Stanborough I new of him (in the later years with the road racing) but new little of his MX days.

You are a wealth of knowledge my old mate!
