Mario, no, the engines are in the garage here and the rest of the car is at my Mum's place. It will look the same again when it's finished. Not rusted out badly or anything, just needs rewiring and basically putting back together replacing worn brakes, tie rods and kingpins along the way, it had a hard life in my earlier years
used to run the XU1 spec 202 and celica ironcase 4 speed with 3.89 ratio in the rear, in such a light car with that gearing it 'never' blew up a diff and fairly hammered off the line leaving many wondering WTF!
but would run out of puff before it got to 90mph
I love the old girl and never really looked at it as an investment but yes, I suppose it has appreciated
just out of curiosity, would anyone on the forum know who'd be able to restore the wood on the steering wheel pictured below and how much this type of repair may cost?
