going off the drop off up the back section of the big track 4 abreast.
heading out onto the big track on my little pre~75 bike and not seeing the guys that laughed
at me in the que.
going from fire to fire at night and everyone was enjoying themselves.
appreciating the effort that has gone into some of the bikes i saw and the passion the builders had for thier achievments.
winning a DVD at the trivia night, giving it to a kid down the front, then i won the exact same DVD a few questions later. Karma :)
hearing some of the "road trip" stories from some of the characters that travelled.
riding some schmick bikes {thanks John & Paul}.
definately the HOT showers! 8)
and so much more...

Meeting an ex-BMX racing rival from the seventies and catching up with the past 30+ years over a few beers.  ;D

The very first night at Husky Central.

It was pure. gold

Great mates have great fun

Evel Knievel even made a return.(in spirit only) sorry for the pun boy's . But that tequila is an evel spirit.

There were some truely memorable moments.

And generally it never let up from there on to the end.

probably watching the legends laps on Saturday when i got a tap on the shoulder and it was my Dad  :) who was on vacation from England with my Mum. They were staying with my brother up at bundy and came down for a look  :)
To be able to share a couple of hrs with my Dad at CD just made it the best CD iv'e been to yet  :)

I've told you this before Bill, but I'm so bloody jealous that you get to share these things with you're old man!  And I know you know how lucky you are. ;D
It was good to meet him briefly.  :)

My favourite memory is simply meeting all the blokes I've typed to for so long, drinking beer and telling lies.
Actually, drinking that weird shit out of little green cups at the KKK (That's Klub Kevlar Kompound in case you were worried  :-\ ) must rate a mention too.............  ;D

Where to start?

The Doc, once again for hospitality above and beyond. The third time I've stayed and he hasn't booted me out yet!

Vandy, for taking me rock climbing for the first time in 8 or 9 years and I didn't fall off! Scared the bejesus out of myself though.

The QLD titles, I'm awaiting results but I led a pre 75-125 heat for most of one race and finished second. This was the first time I've raced against simillar aged bikes and riders.

CD7.....................Everything! Meeting many forum members and I don't want to mention names as I'll forget too many but seeing MickG25, he was 10 years old last time.
And I have to mention finally meeting Graeme M after 9 years of irregular correspondence and a shared love of Yam 500's, TM125's and Warbirds.
The pre 75 track!!! What a blast. The best part of that was chasing what I thought was another TM125 and after 3 laps of losing ground realising it was Dave Tanner on his RH!
The only thing wrong with CD7 was it was not long enough to see everyone and ride everything!

Proserpine. Wonderfull hospitality from the Ralph family. I can't thank you guys enough!

Racing (or my version of!) the Whitsunday classic. Meeting more regulars up there and making a few more contacts.

8500km and four weeks later I'm home, recovering!
The older I get, the faster I was

Met guys from the club I belonged to 28 years ago. Lost track of them. Great to see them again. We stoked the fire with the Bullsh**.

How about this for a favorite memory, We raised over $2200 for the family doing it tough.
They are very grateful and blown away.  The best part is she is starting to respond to the treatment.
That is awesome thanks to all.
Cheers

Awesome NSR!  Thank God it was cold at CD7 and that people warmed to the charity of the wood supply!
