Thanks for the thought Alison, however Sept. is far too late.Commision meets July /Aug.and decision re 2012 rule book will be all over by CB Nats.Time to act is now--through the state committees & clubs. We need to go through the proper channels,to ensure we are set up for 2012 .For 2011 we need to support the S.A. Nats & build for 2012 & beyond. We also need to keep the Dirt Track momentum built over the last three years going by supporting the Brisbane D/T Nats in June.

every time i open my mouth about this, I get howled down that I'm a idiot but I will not give in, first MA needs to determine what consitutes a race!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, then we can work out where a split needs to take place.

no point splitting the Nationals for more of the same( 3 lap races), but if MA can set the ground rules then we can go forward. As I have said at meetings the need to set some sort of requirement is paramount to future of the sport and it must be done thru your club, but hey! I am the village idiot ( or forum Idiot) and I will be happy with more of the same, as not to upset ANYBOBY, as obivously i need help.

Cheers Worms, Happy new year

Nothings changed.. the majority are still keen for a split but obviously it's going to take some time to go through the motions.

careful there Alison - unless things have changeed the VMXWA club supported a split but not at pre 78?  Has that stance changed?

Its a basic check and spilt check is all !! nothing else--what year of the 70s maybe irrelivant in the end !
Its all good for the east coast were they have power in #'s
Getting the motion moved is more important, then the rider get a decent ride time in.
Go the 15 min moto +1  8)

if MA endorse a minium std for a race , "they will have to split the Nationals", it's that simple! and my thinking is, it should be a given that MA has a std requirement for all National Championships and should allready be in the MOM's.

this one simple act of making them determine this, would bring about the split, and then its back to where

Cheers Worms,
