2010 Connondale Classic 31July/1 August.

Get this down as one of your must do events for 2010.This is your second chance this year to ride the best natural terrain track in Oz,the sensational Green Park QLD.Classes up to pre-90 both days.Pre entry essential so see the QVMX website for details and entry forms which are downloadable.I believe this is a long weekend in NSW so you southerners have no excuses!!!No friendly ride days,its racing all the way.BE THERE!!!!

Great! Is it a one off event/ yearly event held by the club?

Would like to do it since I missed out last year and CD conflicts with one of my fav viper rnds this year.
Will you be posting more deatails/regs etc?

Maniac,we didnt run it last year due to holding the Nationals but we usually run it once a year.All the details are on the QVMX website (12 pages infact)including entries and cost details so check it out online.Probably do some more posts as it gets nearer.

I've enjoyed two Conondale Classic's but this one's a little too far from CD7 (time wise) to stay.

I was reading the other Conn Clasic thread and thinking geez there is a lot going on that I dont know about and I'm helping to organize this thing and then I looked at the date on the posts and realized its almost 2 yrs old except for the last post by vmx247 who resurrected it doh!!!Anyway WE NEED YOU GUYS TO ENTER.As of yesterday we have 0 entries(I'm guilty also but will do my paperwork tonight to be the first entry at least that's something I can win).We've got some great sponsors on board and it wil help the organizers if we can avoid a last minute rush.This will be a great 2 day event on the best track around.

Programs tight  with now pre-90 bikes and age racing etc on the Sunday.Meeting is closed to club members with 1/2 yearly memberships available to those who are not allready at the time of the event.A proposal has to be put before a general meeting of club members and formally voted on.A practice run at Coles Creek last meet was voted down at the last meeting.MQ says they need to be specifically included in GCRs for even club days.There are a lot of things that would have to be done to include sidecars in even a club day,but the main thing is winning over the members.If you want to make a case next meeting 1 June (I think).
