Yeah I'm rapt! couldn't have made it otherwise. I entered the RT1 as well but  have run into probs with a barrel that won't clean up to plus 1.5.mm for the new piston. I was looking at older posts on here and saw some possible ways out, but we'll see. My other worry is about riding the slider in the upcoming charity event . I might put a big nut on top of the slide to make sure it stays in one piece! cheers pancho.
dont follow me i'm probably off line!

Don't worry Micks, I definitely won't be pushing hard. Just apprehensive because it's been 28 years since I dropped the clutch in anger.
There hasn't been much talk this time around, I hope there's a good turn out.

All locked & loaded.
I even woke up a neighbour, who is also on the forum, while I warmed up the beast.
Sorry Dok.
See you all out there.
I can feel the horns coming back already.

I dropped in to Nepean to watch the 25 lappers this arvo and talk shit with a few of the fellas. The winner of the pre '75 24 lapper was the forums Peter Lee on his rapid XL and the Evo/PRE '85 was won by the quickest PE250 I've seen in a while. Unfortunately I missed the riders name. I'm going back again tomorrow and hope to get some more photos.
Here are the 25 lapper winners.
