« on: February 05, 2010, 01:24:27 pm »
This marque site been a bit quiet recently except for 090.What are you guys cooking up for the coming year.I'm slotting a '69 250 engine into a 73 enduro frame using a Montesa front end (experimental).Using a High point tank and waiting on a GMC sidepipe(living in hope that one day I will find a early frame to match).Hope to be ready for Coles Creek later this month.I know Hamster is busy with his CZ's.Where are you at Gigantor with your CZ?Jikov are you back on track?Any action in other states/NZ?

Okay. Bought at the Toowoomba swap meet. Found by Holeshot buddy for me.
XL350 in a '73 frame.  Needs work but generally in good order.

That bike looks familiar Brad. Did it start its life in NSW by chance?

What started as a prep, fix a rear flat and mount new plastics ended up a bit more. The paint was looking a bit ordinary so before I knew it, it was in bits. Got the frame back and put some time in on friday, saturday and sunday night. Just have to put the exhaust back on when the old boy fixes the baffle.

I normally paint but this is powder coated as I knock the paint around too much in a short period and wanted more longevity.
