Congrats to all winners at both nationals
personally i was nowhere this weekend
to much pre event celebrating and a track i couldn't get to grips with
Thankfully ours is a multi round nationals and i put a few points in the bag early on
if it had been on this weekends results i was out the back :'(
Pre 75 250 really ejoyed racing with Tony and the Buzzard this year and i got some respect for the DT 175
The Buzzard was the man of the match again this round but a disasturous 3rd rd buggered up his season.
Pre 75 125 would have to have been the closest contested class all season between Pete Mcintyre #265 and Andrew Maisey #6
After 5 rounds and 13 races (rd 1 was cut short) it all came down to who finished ahead in the final race.
Pete got the better start and seemed to have it under control when he was collected by a pre 75 open rider and taken down
Andrew siezed the opurtunity and sailed past to certain victory , 2 corners from the finish andrews bike splutters to a halt , the crowds going nuts Petes closing back in will the baby KX fire into life and they race across the line to a photo finish
NO the forkin KX wont start and Pete sails by to a well deserved victory . Andrew pushed the KX across the line and congratulated Pete . It was one of those finishes where as a mate and sponsor of both riders you experience every emotion
Investigation found a bloody broken ignition wire
They are both great blokes and bloody great sports
I hope they will both be back to duke it out next season
