Tony, are you telling me that those side stands are 225kg??  ;)  XL350 minus 225 side stand equals 125kg  ;D

Yep it was a good day fine weather & testing track, had the same problem  as Steve & could not get the XL started for practice ( I had pulled the stator feed to the CDI out when changing the fuel filter the night before) I found the problem just before the start of the 1st race, got a 2nd in that race with bike not going to well, down on power & hot, I had also changed to a new style of airfilter which started me thinking that maybe it's flowing more air & running lean, went up two sizes in the main jet & the power was back, got 3rd in the 2nd race & another 2nd in the last with bike running great. ;D

Thanks for the interest
Tony : :D

Congrats to all winners at both nationals  :) personally i was nowhere this weekend  :-[ to much pre event celebrating and a track i couldn't get to grips with ::)

Thankfully ours is a multi round nationals and i put a few points in the bag early on  ;) if it had been on this weekends results i was out the back  :'(

Pre 75 250 really ejoyed racing with Tony and the Buzzard this year and i got some respect for the DT 175  ;D

The Buzzard was the man of the match again this round but a disasturous 3rd rd buggered up his season.

Pre 75 125 would have to have been the closest contested class all season between Pete Mcintyre #265 and Andrew Maisey #6  8)

After 5 rounds and 13 races (rd 1 was cut short) it all came down to who finished ahead in the final race.

Pete got the better start and seemed to have it under control when he was collected by a pre 75 open rider and taken down :o

Andrew siezed the opurtunity and sailed past to certain victory , 2 corners from the finish andrews bike splutters to a halt , the crowds going nuts Petes closing back in will the baby KX fire into life and they race across the line to a photo finish  ???

NO the forkin KX wont start and Pete sails by to a well deserved  victory . Andrew pushed the KX across the line and congratulated Pete . It was one of those finishes where as a mate and sponsor of both riders you experience every emotion  8)

Investigation found a bloody broken ignition wire  >:(

They are both great blokes and bloody great sports  :) I hope they will both be back to duke it out next season  :D

Mr TM or is it Sir TM??
I was talkin' to the lads at the nats about takin' some sidey car thingys to Un Zud and y'all neva guess what thay sayd. Iffin they had a yr or 2 to think about it they would luv to come!!!
So my question is, would there ever be the likelyhood of having some VMX races around the xmas break so we could book say a 3 week/4 weekend trip one year??
I know that years ago back in the late 70's there used to be a trip over at that time of year that alot of Aussies used to do, so it has happened in the past.
Just puttin' it out there.
