First Flat tracker I saw compete in Oz was a yellow/green 650 Yamaha ridden by Trevor Fllod at the Bendigo Showgrounds (74 I think) that Brian Clark used to promote. Went like stink down the straights but Trevor, who wasn't really a short circuit/speedway guy unlike brother Gary, couldn't get it going round the corners. Sliders were well out in front. Next year or two Chris Kelly got his astro flying.
