This is my favorite. The Captain on Curly's brand new Hagon Jap, no gloves and breathing out the side of his mouth to dodge the flying methanol. I was too young to have done the refueling so I'm not blame for not pushing the rubber cap on properly. At Nepean.
Another point is the merging of era's, Billy wearing the original Lewis Leathers, Puddin Basin and sleeves left open. Riding a Cutting Edge, latest weapon Hagon Slider.

You were correct. I was very involved in trials. I used to run all the trials in  Newcastle for Belmont Club. Also joined Pacific Park Trials Club and continued to run trials for them. You may remember I used to write a column in Trail and Track magazine called "Feet Up with Hollywood"

You are correct on both counts. Obviously, 323 was myself as a B grader. 323 was my brother Ray's old racing number, he used to race with Herb Jeffo. He build his Hagon look alike by copying Herb's original bike and used a 350cc BSA motor. I actually used that bike at my first Short Circuit meeting.

Hey don whats the disk brake set up off ?  i have airhearts on my pre 72-75 Flat track bikes and i never new you guys were using them out here in 74.   
Really blows out the cant use disk break brigade who bag out the US bikes with them, specially as there here on our tracks pre 75, what a FActual precedent :O)

MOre details would be great, just so we get the story straight.
