Hi Guys;
Kris here from page 30 or so, still keeping in touch with forum.
Have finally got some footage for you of classic races, recorded from super 8 film but didn't turn out too bad. About 9-10 minutes worth.

a little description of film in order of appearance:

1) All the greats at Ameroo Pk 1972 National Titles
2)Young, Kevin Fraser Peter Laws 1973
3)National Tiltles Griffith 1975
4)Napean
5)Londonderry 

Hope you guys enjoy, a few stacks in there you may like. Let me know what you think. Also if you have any good shots of Pete would be great to see.

FFFFFFAAAAAARRRRRKKKKKK, how good is that.
Michael Platts, some good glimpses of Doug in his Blue helmet at Amaroo right at the start and surprisingly brother Carl on his arse a few times.
Nepean running the flip flop inside the Speedway corner and Carlos pushing Scaysie wide a couple of times.
The flag starts were a lottery back then and TH's 750 certainly pulled away from the line pretty good.
Even Peter Lee sneaks in there a few times in the Griffith footage.
Did Fraze ever actually slide a slider?
Thanks heaps Kris, this will raise some comments.
I even saw Mr Burkett looking pretty stylish at Nepean.

Some good stuff eh,
Did you note the speed of the griffith finals, would be hard to beat today I reckon, shame there is no sound.

They were going hard at Griffith for sure and the best of all is nearly all Hagons.
Even footage from just in the pit's would be interesting.
The earlier footage from Nepean looks like it's from the same meeting as some of the still's I posted several pages back, I think I might have spotted a Foss in there.

 Yes Fraz. rode sliders and very impressive at that!
 Always tight lines and rarely over-sliding not spectacular but always at the pointy end.
 Onya Jim but spectating only for you for the next couple of Nepeans!
