Found this vid on the Old and Rooted MCC website, from 1959, more than a bit corny, 10 minutes or so long, but stick with it , towards the end there is some short footage of early scrambles and what appears to be short circuit, ya gotta remember that push starts were the norm in 1959,
a roadracing  BSA single, and an early hillclimber, I reckon the film was sponsored by the BSA distributor of the day

Oh yeah , I rode Triumphs back in the day, had the first '59 T120 in Sutho.

Just got off the phone from an old mate of mine, a Dirt Track sidecar guru, who has been following this thread for some time.
He did mention the lack of outfit photos on here

freaky
i had 1 off nigels streety motors. it had a manx norton magy on it. he replaced all the magys on his race motors.you and i couldnt afford a manx magy

Looks like Kevin Patton must have felt something, very unlike Carl.
Amaroo Park, the same meeting as the 2 shots early on in this topic with Ian Burkett 37, I gather this is where he lost the footrest & brake pedal off my Elstar.

some totally useless trivia.......post 611.. that ESO of Frazer's was bought off Robert "Spud" Townsend.....started life in a TQ driven by Bruce Gooden..both of Wyalong MSC.....don't thank me, my mind is full of trivial sh*t.....................Grumpy ;D
