I think this Suzuki PDI arm looks pretty cool, in a bizarre sort of way. The gussets & holes are a bit over kill but it does look neatly done & in proportion. The Yamaha arm on the other thread looks home made the way those gussets have been added, maybe it was an unfinished prototype?
B & S were way ahead of their time when they started & I guess they were struggling to keep up by the late seventies.

As to the gap in the pivot section, the Yamaha arm that I just posted on the other thread has the same gap.
I think it was a one casting fits all kind of deal, they would have supplied a spacer to fit in the gap for the various models which would have been easier that making up several different castings for different models.

For all of you Suzuki punters wanting to join Marc on the "Something Different" bench, here's a lovely PDI for sale on this mornings Swapmeet.

Vintage PDI Swingarm for a 1978 Suzuki RM125, it may also fit other models as well. After putting this on my bike I realized that I would need to have longer FoxShox, approx 17" and I didnt want to dish out the cash for them. As you can see I cut a "V" in it for clearance for the FoxShox. I have the cutouts if you wanted to use it for a different application, they would just need welded back. The swingarm will need bushings, different axle spacers than stock and chain adjusters. Someone told me that CZ adjusters will work but all you would need to do is weld a bolt to a washer and make your own. I dont know what the difference is in this one and an LOP but to me they look the same. $250.00 Email with any questions. Free shipping in the U.S.A. Check out my other auctions and thanks for looking.

Yes Firko immitation is the most sincere form of flattery and no doubt there are some guys eyeing that sweet swingarm hoping to join the club. Luckily this one comes already hand carved for the lower mount, however  how you were going to attach the Foxys to the frame has been a little glossed over.

right in one not a sewage plant in site. We produce turbochargers with the largest at 14 Tonnes ( engine needs 3 or 4 of them) The compressor set can cost as much as a new Benz.

Hence the spotless condition of my workshops. Its the small things that will always get you, like being clean and on time and the quality of your reporting.
