hell if O Mara had ridden with one you would all want it.

never a truer word said :D

I don't mind it actually, it's certainly not "normal" but once the whole bike is together...

Just interested as to how many bits and pieces you pick up locally?

Mark that swingarm is as butt ugly as Aunty Helen ,recently retired from Unzud, but good to see your ideas.

nah nothing is as ugly as Aunty Helen  :o

Thanks for all the encouragement, actually I think my the time the swinger is on and nice narrow 125 with some decent forks it will be a laugh. Like Firko said, full stock 100 point restos are fine but you have to break it up a bit.

For my taste the ugly swingarms are those plain Jane / girl nextdoor DG things. This thing is like some mysterious and wild Gypsy women.I know what I'd rather ride. ;)

I'm with firko 100%
Something different always catches the eye and marcFX has taken the time to show what he's upto half way around the world.
I'm almost done with my resto on the RM125C and will take up firko's offer of "show us what they've got!"
I was going to post it soon but what the hell.....

That's gold! ;D The DG swingarms don't bother me as much as those awful bland and ilegal Novation things. Bring on the Gypsy women!

Actually Firko I was thinking that a swingarm equivalent of your girl in the  profile pic on the new site would win everyone over but I just can't think of any arms that would look that good.

I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.

Yeah Japan doesn't have huge amounts of old MXers but they come up. On yahoo at the moment are set of factory Kayaba 39mm forks off SR, another RM125B, interesting fuel tanks, mostly you get a low hour motor and bleached out plastics. I bought the RM125C with low hour motor/ frame/CDI etc for $400, as already had most of the other bits. 125s are more common but also more expensive, nobody loves 250s, I have never seen an open class bike.

no we live in a blame based society so you paint the blackest picture possible in case someone blames you for something.

haiku ..... for Japanese Yahoo, or tee shirt slogan, you decide.

on nervous nights morning
medieval junk waits
for moon seas junk
