Very cool Firko, I saw pics of it today and asked Pete whether it should have every second fin machined from the cylinder also?

they were often just  snapped/ chiselled off between hacksawed sections, only the flash ones were machined...

This one hasn't had the fins chopped, the head on our one has the chopped fins but the barrel wasn't, will just leave it as is. :D

While most have the cutaway finning, many CCMs don't and Pete's bike is one of them. That's the way Jonesy got the bike from Sweden.

Just rebuilding a 79 4 valve at the moment. I raced this many years ago in pre 80 down here. Nice thing to ride but hard work against the quick guys on YZ and RM400's though. I tried to bribe them to let me win but they wouldn't be in it. ;D

The boys are going gung ho on the CCM for the upcoming rash of big events.  I've known Jonesy for 25 years and its the only bike I've ever known him sell besides the Alron 20 years ago. It's gone to a good home. Are you going to fit a groovy marble effect seat like the NOS bike in the bottom photo Pete 8)?
