Perhaps Dirttrumpy might know, I think he had something to do with printing them. I bought a repro copy but have since bought a genuine article for less than the $50 Matthews was asking. Hang out for a genuine copy ;).

Frame numbers on the front lower steering head, Year number then build sequence number,  ie;75030
Engine numbers , bore X stroke , compression ratio, year, then build sequence number, ie, 9090107533,
do the later 78/79? have a reference to g/box speeds, 3/4speed ?

rewelded and rechromed have buried #'s

1978 305TMK1 has 4 speed gearbox ,though no refrence made to 1979 gearing which went onto the four valve...trench diggers   :)
