I posted this a while back regarding my Mk8 250 Blly. Theoretically should be the same or damn close. The info came from: Mikuni maestro Ian Williams has been extremely helpful. He went through his records and reckons this is about the combo I should have in my 250:
 - VM34, 210 main, 35 pilot, 2.5 cutaway slide, 6DP1 needle, Q-5 needle jet and 2.0 airjet.

VM34. Baseline jetting for 250cc Montesa's.
Main jet-250
Pilot jet-35
Needle-6FJ6
Needle jet-159Q6
Slide-2.5
remove and toss the airjet.

If you go tp either of Luke1961's Skydrive sites there is a Sudco Mikuni Manual that we posted there recently.
Whilst it won't address specifically a Montessa 250 it does give baseline specs for various bikes plus detailed listings of just what jet/needle/etc is richer/leaner etc because they are not logically sequential.

The above Link is given direct in a posting called Sudco Mikuni Manual in Tech Talk from November 12 2009
