Glad the plan worked with my daughter Hayley, put a girl on the event board & distract the opposition. Hayley had a ball thought  it was better then being stuck in the canteen. ;D ;D ;D ;D
Steve I also shoot clay targets as another hobby so I will have da shotty handy for the interveiws  ;)

Using your own daughter as a diversion for your own benifit, you should be ashamed of yourself.

Actually all jokes aside my dad did say to me he was really impressed with her work effort, he said on the way home "how good was that girl on the numbers thing, she was there for 2 days doing that and i never saw her miss a change or get relieved by anyone"  :)

When i thought about it he was Dam right, i saw her freind hang in for an hour or 2 on the sunday, but otherwise she held the fort the entire time by herself.  Without that numbers board i think we would all have been stuffed, its was the only way i could figure out what the hell event was on, and then figure out if i had for another nervous wee..... :-[

2 Big thumbs up grassy, pass on our sincere to hayley, simply without that numbers board ticking over it would have been hopeless, near impossible to get through that many events in such a fast pace.  Never mind getting a bunch of people to the right grids.

I put the ct 18 in with the clothes, took off the lumps but still all stained........

JOddy wash huh.. might have to go raid the daughters tack shed on the weekend.  I knew in all that horse stuff there would be useful bits one day.  ;)

Although i have discovered the binder twine makes a great belt in the afternoons when my pants get a little baggy in the waist and im too lasy to go inside to find a belt.  Missus hates it though reckon i look like some old hill billy  :D

Hey everyone,
I've been putting off posting something for a while cos after two days shouting at a microphone , the whole meeting is a bit of a blur in me mind, punctuated by LOTS of highs and only a couple of lows with guys having offs.

What a show all you guys put on !!!, so much bloody good racing and so many classic race-bikes , so many old friends from the '70s, Ginge Davies on the Rudge, he was the Scrutineer when I raced at Griffith, TH was there  and the fella I bought me first Hagon from in 1971, Buzz Burrows showed up and was blown away by everything, meeting  old friends , new ones and putting faces to names from the forum , great stuff.

Classic racers from 13 yrs old to 78 yrs having a ball.

Me Bro , Jim,  wearing  me old race number out there and riding me slider in the Parade, good one Jim !!!

The grin on Mick Gee's face as passenger in the outfit on the parade, was something to see

One thing that did stick in me mind was that when the freight train of Dion, Grasy , Pete and Glen thundered past the Tower, the bloody Tower shook so much the Biros were dancing around on the bench !!

Huge pat on the back for Pete , Grasy and Mick plus the rest of the Griffith crew, what an effort !!!

Many thanks for the hospitality from Pete, Colleen , April and Anthony, it made a couple of Dirt Track tragics weekend so much more enjoyable.

Bring on the NSW Classic Titles at The Pines , can't wait !!

See Ya at the Skids
