does anyone know if the 125C and 125X exausts are the same?

they are the same part number, silencer is different.

I'm looking for a performance exhuast for mine, and Jemco make one for the 125C but he says it wont fit the 125X?

X has a larger diameter stinger. Presumably the C part has been supersceded to the X part, hence the identical part number.

If it fits one bike, it will fit the other - providing you have a silencer to match. Mr Jemco may be talking about the suitability of the pipe's shape/performance? Despite the similarities, the X is a much faster bike, with more aggressive porting and significantly bigger carby.
The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.

mainline and nathan s thanks very much for the info!

dont happen to know where i can look for someone to custom make one?
Jamco said they can do one for the X, but he'd need the stock pipe to copy.. and that'll cost a fortune in shipping alone..

GMC can probably modify his YZ125A pipe to suit.....they work, but you'll have to ring him in work hours....between     9.30 to 10.00     11.30 to 12.00   2.30 to 3.00   4.30 to 4.45 otherwise you wont get him, Oh, by the way he's busy building an RM125 pipe at the moment so you may have to wait a while.

Oh Davey, your pipe would have been ready ages ago but you didn't harass me enough.

super cool that you've kept the air forks too!
some people struggle with the idea of them but they're pretty unique i reckon.

I don't think it's a TV,  5 dollars thats a frosted cabinet glass door.  There is a MediaCentre or PC with something on the screen!!

The best thing about the x and c models is as the track gets worse towards the end of the day just add more air. once you get them set up for yourself they are magic .

The "Speedo" and "Tacho" look great - how did you restore them (if it's not a rude question).
Looking for YZ250C parts NOS if possible

i love the look of them too!

i have not done alot to them, they were in pretty good nic. Polished the lower part when the fork legs were polished, the seals in them were replaced when the forks were done.
I want to file finish and re annodize the gold (or whatever color you would call them) top parts, as one of them has some pretty bad marks from a cable rubbing, but its hard to see in that picture.
And the rubber caps partly hide it aswell.
