Hi ajay,

I don't ride bikes anymore, because of a back injury.  I had a little helicopter rescue episode in 2005.... :(

What relevance does that have to this thread, by the way???  ???

all jumps are just bumps, when you think about it and it comes down to rider attitude, towards them, and not abillity. this track has been around since the 70's and still follows the same lines, so what's the problem? it's a NATIONAL TITLE not a weekend event so lets treat it as such.

the volunteers who make these events happen across Australia should not be hounded about this class or that and the competitors who race should be prepaired to race what is laid out for them.

if you want to race flat track, do so, but dont go on about classic motocross having to be soft because of the jumps.

i hate doing jumps myself but it's apart of the sport.

I've raced the Conondale Classic the last 3 years and wouldn't miss it for the world. To me, it is the best mix for pre and post vintage, there is someting in it for everyone and probably the safest track I've ever ridden. The sport we compete in is called motocross, the whole point of it is that we ride over bumps and jumps. There is even a chance you might get dirty and sweaty, oooohhhh, yucky poo. If that's not for you then go play lawn bowls. Even netball, there's less sheilas involved in netball than vintage MX.
