Hi
I think its a great track, always well prepared , but if  you ask the pre 75 Guys who go real fast, they do bend forks ,blow shocks ,break spokes, even at my slow speed Iv'e blown two sets of rears and bent two set of forks  I,m not going fast enough to break spokes .  I know some will say just ride to the track conditions,
I agree with the comments  sun prarie jimmy "build the track to suit the fast guys only the fast guys are happy" ,(and maybe only the fast guys will enter)
I'll be going regardless
Gee, I find that hard to believe that a rough track caused bent forks etc. The track can't be any worst then Bilpen and we use to race, and hate ::),  that without undue suspension failures. Maybe if riders are use to modern bikes doing all the work for them and hitting obstacles too fast, coming off jumps flat expecting the suspension to do all the work might be the cause. Ancient, antiquated suspension need a little more cunning, back in the day and now; ride the rim of the crater, land rear wheel first etc etc.

The Conondale track that I saw in use last August was in NO WAY more of a pre-75 bike breaker than the tracks for the Aussie titles in WA in 2006, nor Port Macquarie in 2007.   :o

I didn't got to Tassie, so I can't comment on that.  :-\

OK.  All concern's have been noted again & again.
Can i just say the track's for the outdoor nat and for that matter CD6 have no bearing on the VMXNats track.

OK enough negative ::)  The reason I want the one track is that it's going to be so bloody good that everybody is going to WANT to ride the whole track ;D.

Pre '75 bikes bent forks, blew shocks and broke wheels back in the day.. so what's new. Conondale vintage tracks are not that rough and not the same as the modern nationals track. Anyway this is motocross.. not dirt track.

Hi
Sorry Noel wasn't trying to be negative , QVMX has been telling us the track will be pre75 friendly,  I thought it might mean they would be changing something, like they are at CD6
I presume all you guys who say slow down at the jumps aren't riding pre 75 bikes,
maybe I'll have go across to dark side and join those big wooses who can't ride real Vintage MXers and have to have bikes that have 12 inch suspension

Hello fellows, l have be preparing race tracks for years, the old mortlake track was great, it was excellent, very fast, off camber corners, ungelating very much like a  European style track and l always made sure that the track was prepared to cater for pre65 to pre 80 classes, l personlly like long straights top gear straight not these short  1,2,3,straights, when they are long straights it sorts thr riders out and you have less accidents on the first corner. A track should be know less than 1.5k to 2 k round. The classic scramble clubs track at Harrow is 2k round and fast , and you can ride your own pass also, there isn`t anything worst than riding on a goat tracks, and no short stop and go corners, that is modern style racing.
A track should flow from start to finish, and as l said the main straight should be long and funnels in to the first corner.

Hi,
Do you think they will ?

No.  Maybe you shouldn't go.  ::)

You don't seem to have a very positive attitude towards Conondale...  they have answered your questions, but you keep on with it.  ???
