49 mm.  A bit odd, but i measured 2 rocker covers.

Well, there are a couple of mm differences here and there.  It would take some real work to try to make one of the 510 heads fit on an XL350.  Plus the cam lobes are switch for positioning, and there is no points/ign. extension on the cam etc..  Anything is possible but not easy!
