I a 81 Xl185 I've been known not to start it for 12 months and it runs fine on the old fuel. The pre mix fuel I drain out of my bike ( 250 Maico)and use it in the mower. So I think about the racing and not mowing (i hate mowing)

I had a similar problem with a PVL on a Maico after months of looking I found that the flywheel had rubbed through the wires behind the mounting plate.

I remember Nindigully  Raced on Saturday drank a bottle of rum and put new rings in the CR Saturday night raced again on Sunday  was always a good time in the late 70's. Went back years later and the dickhead factor had kicked in (throwing gas bottles in the bonfire shooting  guns at midnight) Wasn't long after that I was told it wasn't being held anymore

Just received this from his sister.Thought some of you would like to know.Hi all, just letting people know of funeral details for Baz Cockle. It will be this coming Thursday 6th Nov at Lake Macquarie Memorial Park Crematorium at 2pm, 405 Cessnock Rd Ryhope NSW 2283, then Wake will be held at Toronto Workers Club, 9 James St, Toronto NSW 2283 afterwards. Xx

I had the same sort of problem with a tt600 after spending a lot of time looking at the cdi I found that the vacuum side of the carb was sometimes sticking open and sometimes wasn't opening at all

From the DMC, it is with great sadness that we bring you the news of the tragic loss of Ivan Erceg. A larger than life bloke with a heart of gold. Sincere condolences to Ivan's wife Hazel and daughters Holly and Stevie. R.I.P mate.
