From the DMC, it is with great sadness that we bring you the news of the tragic loss of Ivan Erceg. A larger than life bloke with a heart of gold. Sincere condolences to Ivan's wife Hazel and daughters Holly and Stevie. R.I.P mate.

Yes, but there will be an official announcement from the organisers later tonight.

Edit: It's really unfortunate when people take it upon themselves to make public announcements before the officials have made sure all his friends and family have been notified..........

I really hope they were all informed properly before they read it on forkin' Facebook!  :-\

That's horrible news, Ivan was a close friend and fellow race team member of friends of mine. From all reports this was one of life's few remaining genuine "good guys", he's being remembered and mourned for already by many. "Freakshow Racing" will miss there mate I'm sure. RIP
