Thats the hose thing , it screws in the bottom plug its got a clear hose so you can see the true fuel level beside the float bowl. You can see if the level is creeping up if the needle and seat are leaking.
I asked you if you wanted to check it last time we were out together, cant remember when that was.

You need the hose thing ive got to check it properly on the bike Gaz. And you can use it to see if the level is creeping up indicating the needle and seat are leeking. But if youve filled the crank case then its a sure bet that its slowly dribling fuel through it. I know that all of ours have been runing much more reliably since we put needle seats and did the fuel level.

When we were young blokes Fino (god bless) had this old TS that had a hole in the box case. He rode it for about a year, In the end he didnt bother toping up the gear oil and never bothered puting any oil at all in the fuel. It ran for a few weekends and still went when he parked it up for the last time. It was a beast.

Its no place to be behind it when that crap comes out, it gives the pipe a good wash through. Yep dont fire it up out on the back covered area Chyna.
There is a lot in there if its hydraulic locking still, you will have to clear some out with thee plug out.
Once i got most of it out she fired up but yes very messy out of the pipe and killed a patch of lawn.

You need to get all that fuel out of the crank case chyna. I got melindas cleared with the plug out and spun it over with the drill on the magneto. Maybe you can turn it upside down and crank it out. You need to sort out the fuel tap leaking and the needle and seat leaking.
Oncee you get it cleared and started disconect the fuel hose when you switch it off to stop it leaking into the crank case.

Its simple, its becouse all new oils are evil. They are only made for Kawasakies.

You have been waiting for years to come up with that picture oportunity of the land of Oz tin man towing a Greeny. Im sure it wont be the last time this pic does the rounds.

D T,
I think it was introduced to cover up any blury recolections that may have caused any riders to be confused following the previouse nights festivity.
I usually wake up thinking the gods must be crazy for puting up with us.

Thanks for clearing that up VERI but my comments are more concerned with NSW events that do not have a clear and distinct cut off period.

Melinda was wondering why you were so worried about this, she mentioned that you only turn up once in every three years mr maico.

I told her to be nice because I heard on the wind that you may make a suprise visit on a green machine.

You seen the disapointed look on our faces when they said you wernt coming, im sure there is a pic of it somewhere.

I think I recall the question of the TTR 230 arising and the answer was no as we can all agree in good faith that it is far from considered to fall close to being Vintage it wasnt about excluding anyone it just doesnt serve the best interest of a vintage event.
Eligable bikes are not hard to find, numbers are ever increasing at Vinduros.
If you want to ride a later model bike in an event there is plenty of modern events around that they qualify for. Just jump on your states MA site to see whats on.

As for my bikes seeing the dirt it's called Lochmaree, and it's just re opened.
The other thing is I'm very selective who I ride with :)
Might see you next year when I join team green.

I feel special cause I ride there with you every time, albiet not often enough but I am consistantly the slowest rider when we do.

Dont forget to let me know when I can come and pick up the green bike that has been pushed even further down the dungeon and refused your attention.

I might be wrong but most of those pre 90 mx bike stuff on fb is like mx is there thing anyhow, I dont know how many of them are really interested in vintage enduro. The bike park I go to a bit 99% of everyone is just there riding mx tracks, you have the enduro trails pretty much to yourself. You get some funny looks when the old drum braked 80s enduro bike comes out and heads bush.
