Thats the hose thing , it screws in the bottom plug its got a clear hose so you can see the true fuel level beside the float bowl. You can see if the level is creeping up if the needle and seat are leaking.
I asked you if you wanted to check it last time we were out together, cant remember when that was.

Hey Brian,

Pulled the carby apart and had a real close look at it and compared with expolded partzilla diagram.

looks like it had an extra washer installed which was farking up the adjustment. reinstalled it correctly and adjusted float to a measurement I think is right. haven't tried to start it as yet been to busy but definitely this weekend.

I did turn the bike upside down you should have seen the amount of crap that came out of the cylinder. It now cranks nicely.

I do remember you offering me the tube thing but we didn't get round to doing it.

Thanks also to KDX Geoff for all the info also.

Cheers

Well it seems to be fixed. Kisk starts like it has never done before.

Some carby adjustments then I believe the whole bike is ready to go. I recorded it going but can't seem to  post the video clip.

Well took the pest out to the Arundal (Don's place) test track on Tuesday.

It went great. Started first kick and went well.

Had a bit (lot) of fuel coming out of the float bowl when sitting there but when going didn't leak.

Anyway fiddled around with it today, now no leak.

All ready to go.

Looking forward to the next 2 weeks .
