Repairing Carby Inlet Rubber.

I was thinking of using Super Glue for this repair. Any comments, experiences or suggestions of a better more appropriate glue?

Get a tube of Sikaflex, glue it then put it over a pipe the right diameter, leave it for 24 hours and then very carefully remove it (get something under it to cut it from the pipe). It will stay flexible, superglue goes to hard and the clamp will split it. Cheers John.

Sikaflex is what they glue windscreens with. ;)

I used sikaflex on mk7 carby boot with a great result

MX250 about 6 months ago through out about 7or 8 cartridges of sikaflex I worked for O'brien glass back in the 90s  ::) jimson

I am assuming its off your MX250??
These guys database says they have one for $13.36 US.
Might be worth a try.

This one is off an RT1, part marked 12 - $123.50. I think I'll repair it - it seems it works and be outa sight. Although I'll put my dibbs on that MX one for $13.36 ;) ;D
