Reed was 2nd, Metcalfe 17th. Aussies in 4th after first race.

Yes but GB , BEL ,FRA have better MX3 riders fo the next moto. Metcalfe needs to step it up and Byrner needs a good start and some luck.

MX3 - OVER 450CC. WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?

Not quiet, MXDN is a little different. In World MX, MX3 = OVER 450CC.
In MXDN;
MX1 = 450cc
MX2 = 250cc
Open = Any CC, Rider/Team choice.
There is no MX3 at MXDN. Additonally another significant difference is there no real minimum age.

Burner was the only rider to score points in every AMA national in 09.. Thats why he was picked! Consistant and fast. He was looking really quick till that Italian crossed his line in the air :'(

15 is as good as having nothing, even 16 is stretching it.
Will be interesting over the next year or so as it looks like the Under 18 may get a serious look in.

I wonder how they will clasify Burners injury. If he has been knocked out, it's all over for him for the rest of the day. I think that FIM have adopted something similar to the USA football injury code of conduct when it comes to concussion.
