Hi Adam,
Just spoke to Martin Crooks at Crooks suzuki, I was chasing some parts for myself so asked him for you.
He said he had just had an email from someone in Oz so maybe you.He said they have been obsolete for some time and can't get them but he was wondering if a later year part would fit.
He did say that it is a bearing with rollers and not just an empty cage washer type thing.
He said that some later year suzukis went back to it but hasn't had time to explore if it would fit or not.
He said it cant be cross referenced but that doesn't neccesarily mean it won't fit.

Yes that was me that emailed Crooks last night and thanks for asking about the bearings for me.  I've since had the heads up from Doc that possibly Yamaha of Troy in the US have them still. They're listed as 'in stock' on their website.

I've ordered them (USD $28 each) and I'm waiting to see if they turn up. Postage was $10 USD. I'll post again and let everyone know if they have them.
