VMX fun days
« on: September 20, 2009, 07:32:54 pm »
The guys down Levin (NZ) put on a VMX fun day today to help raise some money for the local BMX track and we had to toss a coin on whether to ride or just sit in the sun drinking beer and looking at the view.
The riding won  ;D

Thanks guys, I had a ball.

Thanks for sharing the pictures DJ. Great looking scenery. Great looking track, with some great two wheel history on it. Hope you ended up with the best of both worlds ::) A days riding, and a few lagers at the close ;D Mick.

Crikey Davey Crocket, I had a few rides but the biggest surprise of the day was the very rare and ever so quiet "Stig" turned up to race with us. Crikey, he was in full regalia, and no one knew who he was except there was an English connection!!

The Stig didn't "bottle" it if you gave him anything bigger than a 125 to ride did he?, when he rode my 250 he complained of a "sticky" throtle? ;)

Vandy the reason for the modern look  is as a direct result of your MX  ;D It throws a fair bit of roost , i know cos iv'e been on the recieving end of it at most events this season  :o

Basil have you fixed that bloody sticking throttle yet  ::)
