Firko,

The only place mentioned in the post was the Klub Kevlar compound and the post also indicated you would be "there" on Thursday arvo... so I don't think I was jumping the gun.

Maybe you could have been more specific in your post as to where "there" was.

One thing's for sure, we don't want there to be any confusion and have people turn up on Thursday through a misunderstanding and consequently get pissed off.  Hence my clarification.

DJ and I are coming the long way round via Brisbane  ::) I had an awesome time at the Coffs nats so it would be rude not to revisit the area on the way and show Jamison what he missed  ;)

Is that there their or is that their there.

I'm a little confused as to where that place is.

But looking forward to seeing you all somewhere on the weekend of cd 5.

So what do we need for CD5, do we need MA licenses(day license)? Club membership? or any other form of membership? What is the minimine safety equipment and is there bike scrutinizing?

None of that shit.
Turn up, pay money, ride.

Dunno about minimum apparel requirements - anything above and beyond the nudie-cross photo you posted would seem to be OK (helmet, goggles, sensible footware, long sleeves and long duds - will stand corrected).
The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.

If you haen't got an MA licence then you can buy a day recreation licence, I think $20.00 from memory.
The normal stuff I imagine, boots, helmet, gloves & goggles.
And your bike will be scrutinised, oh yes, it will be scrutinised all right. It will be scrutinised by several hundred spectators so just be sure if your going to claim your bike is original that it is, because their will be someone thier that will know if a 8mm bolt with a 12mm head has been replaced with a 8mm bolt with a 13mm head ;D ;D ;D

Most of you know that the other passion of my life (other than Evo big-bore motocross bikes) is My All Girls Amature Theatre Group.
Well bugger me if their latest show doesn't fall on the very same weekend as Classic Dirt Five!
The girls have decided to do a love story with an action classic so they're combining
"Love Story" with "The Battle of Stalingrade". All five hours of it.
Sebastion is playing "Bubbles", Clarence is filling the roll as Obersteppenfurrers Klink's rottweiler "Dinky" and I have to make Russian and German uniforms for about 1.5 million extras.
So, I'm afraid, I'll be a little busy.......... :-\

Forgive me pls for a hijack here but it appears not all are getting the 'noise emmisions' debate.
Another thread has appeared in the Competition page as 'Decibels'.
This is serious. Fatboy advises it all comes to a head when the Board meets on 26 March.
I'm cutting and pasting from that thread into a couple of the high interest threads (like this one) in the hope some will respond to the noise emmisions issue:

Jeez fellas, Fatboy says MA have received only six or eight responses to the noise limit debate!
That is tragic - and hardly a groundswell of dissent.
How many members are on this Forum......?

Given the volume of written traffic on this Forum can we pls all make an effort to send a letter to MA?
Fatboy has provided the link (and it's no different to posting on this Forum).

 [email protected]

We have eleven days left before the Board meets on 26 March.
Pls send a few lines ASAP.
