« on: September 16, 2009, 08:26:34 pm »
HI Guys
Launceston Motocross and Scramble Club Grasstrack this weekend 20th Sept at 985 Fernny Hill Road Golconda. Sorry for the short notice but It has finally stopped raining down here and i have been down to the property tonight it will be muddy but the Paddock will be ok for getting cars in and should be able to build a good track.Forecast is good, if you are in Tassie come along and have a race.
Track set up 9am Saturday could use some help let me know if you can help.

For those who don't no it has rained in North Tasmania for the last 12 weekends in the last 40 days it has rained 31 days amazing I thought we should be building a bloody big boat to put our bikes in. ;D

Cheers
Fatboy

Hey Fatboy
Wont be coming down from sunny QLD for the grasstrack,
How about getting some photos posted of some of the action for us old ex-taswegians.. Say gday to Pete and Andrew.

Hope to catch you some day soon in Tas.

Regards

Is it way too small? A bit of work with the heat gun or hot water could soften it enough to fit if it's close. Maybe some rubber friendly grease as well.

Me and a heap of Rovers members are coming over in Easter for a big road trip, I'm driving the support vehicle (Better known as a beer truck)
Any chance there will be something on then?

OK these photo's come all the way from WA, camera's not invented in TAS yet so Shane had the feral photographer from Perth hop over and take some photo's, hope you enjoy

The beast with his beast, on weekends appears in harry Potter Movies

The track and a gentle breeze coming off the bass Strait giving a chill factor of -15 degrees

Have more but that will give you an idea, couldn't stay for long long to bloody cold

hold on 30 minutes at least and with no thermal underwear.  oops She who will be obeyed, says it felt more like an hour!!  Lived in Devonport for three yrs in the 80's so know how to talk slow to these Tassie boys, well they looked like boys.

Shane you have to remember, haven't seen any photo's from the Tassie crew, yep that's right no digital camera's have been sold in the state.  you shouldn't make fun of Christine, you should feel sorry for her, she's married to me!!lol
