Thanks Jim. Are they still in production? Making widgets maybe, brake components for VW, assembling Honda's for the eastern bloc?

The twin-twinport did it for me, we just need Firko or 090's dad to build one ,imagine the sound of 4 pipes howling around the track :o.....what is it...a bird?...a plane?...no, its a twin-twinport!!!. I can see GMC rubbing his hands together...... :) :)4 pipes/mufflers...whuu..hoo ;D. Cheers Big Ears.

Hi Davey, talking about four sceaming CZ pipes :o :o :o :o
I know its a roady, but it's still a CZ racer. Every time I look at this I find it mind blowing and oar inspiring how ssuch a bueatiful beastie like this was ever conceived in the first place. MILES AHEAD OF IT'S TIME.

YES SHE HAS FOUR SCEAMING PIPES, TWO AT THE TOP AND TWO AT THE BOTTOM.
When I was a kid, well a smaller one than I am now ::) I bought an old CZ 250 single cylinder with twin exhaust pipes. The engine looked different to the one Brad has ??? I bought it for $2. An old bloke from Shortland kept pestering me to sell it. Finally his offer hit $20. At a young age I thought I had hit the big time.

Mick thats not a CZ but a Jawa. CZ's V4 was in the second photo & was a 4 banger that was way ahead of its time but politics were played to get it killed off, I always thought they were all crushed. CZ were told by the party to stick to MX while Jawa got to keep roadracing & earning hard currency selling speedway bikes

Great lot of photos there Jim

Yeah Tony, I know, I know, I know, I read the sign< but I am still confused. The one I had when I was a kid had CZ id plate on the frame and jawa on the clutch cover?(It was many moons ago Tony 27)  with a gear stick shaft that was in the middle/centre of the kick-start shaft ??? Maybe it's one of those things conceived by a mad inventor, or out of necessity, or burning desire to have a fuel-burning engine attached to two wheels ??? Like the Sherpa I bought home, it was that cheap. I just forked the cash and giggled all the way home. Until I checked the numbers and then found out it was actually a SherPina. ::)

I learnt to ride on those bikes(way older than me) they were basically the same bike although jawa had square section frames & cz were round. The kickstart/gearlever idea was pretty wacky but when you learnt how it was possible to pull away from standing with no clutch cable, to shaft passed through the gearbox & had a cam that disengaged the clutch ;D

CZ sure do make the best chains still.
They also make handguns.

Cool images Jim.
Was there any chance of getting an old mate a twin pipe.
