Air filters

What do you guys use for air filters in these? The one I have just says Denicol Foam Filter and doesn’t quite look original or the right size.



Wanted - 1978 TS185 frame or frame&motor. Frame # TS1852-24007 up to TS1852-39022

Send the whole airbox and cage to unifilter in Sydney and they will make one, infact I always get at least 2. I always find them great to deal with. Cheers John.

You're kidding! Will they actually manufacture a one-off filter?  :o ( I'd get about five at a time I reckon!)

i suppose thats an idea, i wonder if anyone has already tryed that for these air boxes already?

weren't those airboxes made by twin air - I wonder if they lis a replacement filter for them still ???

I am in the same boat .The airbox I have has an airfilter but it's cactus. I have brought some flat uni filter sheet  foam and I will try to make one myself.

Uni Filter are excellent. I got a filter for the XL250K1. Wasn't actually listed on their current cattledog, but they still had the pattern and yes, they would have made up just one (though I bought 2) $18 and took 4 days....made and sent to Tassie. Can't complain about that. :D

does anyone make rubber air boots for these aswell? i might have to attach a photo to show you as i think there are several types. Mine has clearance for the shock.
