Very nice machine Marc. Mike's attention to detail is first rate. Is it a 250 and is this the one with the RH barrel you mentioned on here before?  Be interested to hear about the ride test when you get the chain on.

Yeah I have posted some photos of it before without the pipe on. Your right Mikes attention to detail is first rate and he has definitely raised the bar.

It has NOS RH250 top end, mag RM rear hub, RMS brake pedal, GMC pipe and more than a few other nice bits.  ;D

Cool bike Marc....Where did you get the RH style airbox? I've got a genuine RH74 airbox for my Boyd and Stellings but it's fairly rooted so I'd love a new one.

ah Firko to get one of those airboxes you have to know the secret New Zealand handshake.  ;)

But it could be arranged.

I have my Kiwi operatives on the airbox situation as we speak.

whats the Suzuki project  :)
I built the VMX magazine TM/TS a few years ago as a project to show you could build a bike for $100. I've spent a bit more on her since then but it's still under $600 total. Unfortunately the old girl has sat forlornly in my garden shed for quite a while now with no inclination to use her. Over a few beers with my old mate Oldschool and being inspired by our mate Peters Yamaha 465 flat tracker and by the Kawasaki 350 we spotted at Nepean, we've decided to convert her over to flat track use. The steering head will be de raked, 19" front wheel used and a Matcho Mick seat tail combo used. The superflous parts will go on the TM250 I found on the garbage cleanup. The tank's already on my B&S TM400 so we'll use an alloy Elsinore tank. This'll be another one of those fun cheapos that I love.

Superb rebuild. Incredible detail, 'worksie' opaque airbox, custom pipe, even  a 'worksie' gap between the seat and tank, and then there's the gold rims - where did they come from  ::) :P.

Mike built this one and I agree it is superb.... I was really pleased to get it. ;D

Rims are current model Excels, airbox is Mikes production..... it was built to be a usable substitute for a real RH250 then ended up the bit of shed art it is.

Bill is too busy beating the Australian 125 riders from all accounts.
