Another reason that you don't see them Firko is that they went Elsinore mad  in the US  and since the B was just a A painted yellow it didnt really get much attention.

'A' had both muddies and flats infact i think there was 3 makes offered in the end, i have 2 "A" and they both have differant orignal rims ( go figure) forks where the same but most 75 ers dropped em out for the 250YZ front end and wheel, makes a  big differance.

Any one got a backing plate for a YZ 250A/B  while i think of it ?   or are they the same as ther MX 250B ?

I wouldnt say 1,519 is a lot of bikes Ross ?

I think your misreading  the info you have, thats the serial spread.

you take the starting production number from the last serial production model, you can also add about 200 left cases and frames to any yamaha model as they sold them as a replacement part , often with blank cases or no numbers

453 -100101  to  453 - 101620

It has the same colours etc of the YZ80B (1975).I have seen plenty of those but I can't recall seeing a 125B- until now that is. It wouldn't of had the LTR rear though would it?

Ithink that you are right about the LTR , might be a  mod but the MX125B (also rare) did have slightly canted shocks like that.

The MX125B is a white replica of the MX125A - including the upright rear shocks.
The rare MX125C had lay-down twin shocks from the factory (very similar to a TT500).

WRT the YZ125A rims, they came with Jap Mudcatchers, Takasago mudless, or DID mudless.
The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.
