thats pittence compared to what i got for my as new motocorse no1.i also have old f1 books as well just to lazy to list them.also i have the book that was printed before motorcorse was relised.ore family dont through out books.my younger brother has heaps of first editions but he is a bookworm.

Compelling proof that it is best to sell the rare issues separately, if you ever decide to commit heresy and sell your collection.

Not the highest that one has sold for though... the record is US$330 as I understand it.  :o

#6 can get up to $50 sometimes as it ahs been sold out for a while now.

#7 less than that (we have only just run out of back issues) and #8 and #9 bugger all, as we still have those available.

The silly thing we continue to find is people paying big $$ for issue #23, which is still in stock in the UK!!! (and issue #22 for that matter as well).

If you ever decide to realise your wise investment in the magazine (heaven forbid  >:() then it is always best to sell the magazines individually, as full sets just don't inspire people to bid high like they do for the rare issues.

Conversely, if you are looking for the rare issues the cheapest way to get them is buy a full set.... ;)

When l was working with Ray Ryan, l had a box of 50 issue of number 1 and  a box of 50 issue of number 2 and l gave them away. I gave issue number one to Barry Sheene at a Grand Prix  dinner at the crown
