seen 3 since xmas.  when your not looking they seem to turn up.    Ross used to say he only new of a few, well i think even he has realised how many are actually still out there, they were good enough to fit throught the "dispose era unlike so many other enduro types that became scrap metal.

Even nathan turned up a frame a while back 2, and i saw just a frame a few weeks back, so they are in various states, but living on.

Im trying not to look to hard for an A, hoping that if i dont look one will turn up.

yes and no Freaky.  There weren't ever that many made but yes they do turn up and usually in good nick - we do seem to have more than our fair share of 360's in WA though - I know of two where the owner is maybe/maybe not looking at selling.

It might be similar to when you mention a particular model of car - then you start seeing them everywhere :D

Back in the early 90's Sydney racer Col Brightwell raced a matching set of YZA's..125, 250 and 360. The 360 was actually a cobbled together bike featuring a 360b engine fitted to a YZ250a roller. He'd bought a complete 360b but couldn't race it in pre 75 at the time (prior to the Jody Mason challenge to the rulebook) so he did the swapover. I often wonder what happened to his 360a and it's monoshock b donor.

im thinking about posting up my engine numbers, here and in the states, its always had me wondering where the frames went too, or if rebuilt what motor they have in them now, be good to offer up the left cases to whoever has the matching numbers in some kind of straight swap and the frame owner pays to split the cases.  BE a warm fuzzy feeling to rematch up a lost pair or 2.

Heard of another 3 frames turn up this week, in the country side.  still looking for a confirm but guy says they stay put. pity as they will just get rusty and end up in scap after he moves on.

I think listing the numbers will be a xmas hols progect.  hey 090 whats you 360 frame number out of curiousity, i got a 432 somthing, crack me up if they are the same ...........    be like a twilight zone thing huh

YEp do it johnny, is it up for sale...  :O)

MInes motors an  'A' so it will have the diffant prefix's.

NA jim not me, i cooked a deal with the guy on a 50 /50, if i won under 4000 id pay 3.5 ( which is what it was worth, if it went over 4000 i agreed to push it over 4300 or as high over that as i could, and pull back if i was winning.   i told him i was only in at 3.5 but id take the punt it wouldnt go over if it did he would get the upside,  if it wasnt for that one guy who won it , crazy plan would have worked as every one else was out at 3.6 so it was a good plan, but hey sometime you lose, some you win.  IN a way im glad i didnt pull it, im not that keen on the b's the monoshock thing is a HF really.   This one had issue as disussed previously, if new owner did view it, it would be interesting when he collects it or it gets picked up and lands on his door, it needs $$$ and a lot of work

Freaky my 360b frame number is 484-001533. I wonder where the engine ended up? I have a feeling it blew up, was stripped down and never rebuilt then dumped at the tip. That is where the rest of the bike was found.
What's the chances of me getting an engine for it either here or in the US?

Not sure.   most of my stuff is 431, and a 432, but cant say i have looked to hard for the b stuff, but IIRC they did a few more 360 for the b then the A, or was it the other way round.  Any how... was the frame here or did you bring it in ? if it was ex US id say its probally in a FT or something as they still turn up.   If it was ex AU then you would be right it sitting in the corner of a garden somwhere rusting if not ina dumpster from a house clean.  I can think of 3 other 360 frames and also the one i think its 090 has in Qld so there are at least 4 or more 360 motors out there that never came home..........  you might have to pick up an RT1 donk until you can find one, rarely you see BLANK side cases, but i have only seen 250cc in those, but surely they did a few replacement cases for the 360, if you can find one of them id say thats as good as matching numbers, but then you still need to fing the other bits to get it into spec, crank, clutch, straight cut gears etc, and the barstard part is not a lot of the 250 fits in the 360, it was a bit out on its own.   Wiseco dont even make the pistons, so unless someone else did its Gen or nothing.

What Pistons are you using Ross ?  and did you sleeve back to a cast barrell and move onto the MX360 pistons or trying to chase chrome ones still ?
