We have all herd the saying   3rd time is the best  ..

The Dirt track Nats are looking Good .Better than Goood Fantasy .....

The Wagga wagga  MCC  gave new life to the Nats and we must Thank them for that..  Thank You..

The A.C.T Mcc put the Cream on the Cake and serve it up and we love it and wanted More..

Now Barleigh Ranch is going to Put the Big Cherry on Top of that Cake .

Thay are working hard to bring to you a Fun Weekend of Good Old Australian Dirt Track ...
I have seen the track and looks good .
Thay know what to do to make it a Fat Time but what that need you to do is to Pre Enter Early
I my self know how much work goes in to Put a Race day On and its is a far Bit.
and the larts thing you need is to say up all nigth working out Entrys  at the larst minit..

So My avice is to get organisation in your Life and get your Bikes and your Entry Now ...

Hi Fellas where do we get the entry forms from . Denis you are spot on about the efforts Wagga & Canberra put in great job by both clubs. Late entries are a great pain to the organisers the earlier the entries the better chance of the age divisions might get seperated & let the older riders have a crack .Should be 5 from Griffith up there to try and get that cherry. See you all there Pete Lee & myself are of to Nepean for a run next weekend hope the club gets some support to keep the classic scene rolling great chance to test prior to Raymond Terrace . Watch out for no 52 (wiil be no 24 next weekend in memory of a great man Glenn Davies ) Peter Lee got an XS650 twin on the boil rode it last weekend this thing is a serious weapon . I think even Bi Ladan would shit him self if he got on it.

Mick, I was told to use the later pump (re. centreport XL ) 250,s r the same. They all look the same bar the drive gear is slightly different. I would do that at the very least, mine destroyed a very exspensive top end. The shame is I was told, but checked original pump and it looked good. This a bike just used 4 DT and babied. If ya doin 1 of these check an check again, XL350's are a bit fragile. If you have an XL250 apart at the same time you will see how similar they r. Best of luck- may see you at races -talk XL stuff.

What frame are you using Pete or have you chopped and channeled a stocker? It's amazing the number of Yammy 650s coming out of the woodwork. That's why I've gone Benelli. Got any photos of the beasty?

Firko, there is a pic under "broadford flat trackers" a couple of pages back, I'm not good at postin pics.We will have it at Nepean next w'end. Using std XS1 frame, uncut, moded every other bit.Had a good mate Rod Watts take all measurments off my 350 twin and work from there, the mtr sat on floor of my shed in peices 4 a couple of years. Rod and spoke about buildin a big un but the 350 is fast enough and was difficult to get motivated. The XS works a treat a is a real credit to Rod.Used an XS1 mtr and pre-70 bits.Nepean will see how good it is, using no. 24 ,Glenn Davies old no.,passed away recently.

Soz pete, I wish  -bit too far for both Nats this year. ( okay im a soft cock but the boss dont get 'time off' )    but Been playing with a few bikes here ATM, i have always promised myself i would have a look at.

Im trying to get my YZ360 framer together and also build up the Dt1 as a pre 70 moto ride for DT and MX next year ( distance dependant)  Other project on the back burner is the YZ125a's  been trying to get one of them together as a ride.  MEh  if i had the time and the brains i would propally have done all this 12 months ago, but every second weekend im out riding ATM or working on the property so, i guess it all gets back into perspective.

Wish we could all be retired, but then again my dad says he has never been so busy :O)

I'd luv to get onto an XS but down here we dont have the track for it, our Dt's are short track and acusa park is far too bumpy and soft.  Still I seen a picture of a mx250 on that nepean track today and its a very differant looking surface, almost a speedway hardpack looking with a brushed top surface, would be perfect for a big bore Tracker............be nice to it :O)

photos. photos photos. :)

freaky i have never seen Nepean surface look better since 1959 except on one or two times back in the days of oiled surface, but then it used to break up a bit. gets a bit dusty sometimes but the surface holds well. cheers wally.
dont follow me i'm probably off line!
