67mm - you mean as an RM/PE250 alternative, or for something strange?

the 380 was  54mm x 54mm
the 550 was  61mm x 62mm
the 750 was  70mm x 64mm

does it have to be Suzuki?
e.g. the Kawasaki KDX2220 piston was 69mm  or.. what about the newer KTM's - say their SX220?

67mm with 16mm pin looks like an impossible combination. looks like im going to have to go to 18mm

is the LT250 piston anything special? i would assume it has some port windows/holes in the intake side of piston???

just looking at a it175d piston and it takes a 16mm pin aswell and is 66mm std bore size, theres a 2/3mm difference in the compression height compered to the 185 piston and 4 mm shorter on the bottom of the skirt, you should be able to find a non reed cutout piston pre ct1

i had thought about IT 175 pistons but had no idea what they looked like. since you say they have 4mm shorter skirt than TS that automatically means is a no go unless the IT piston is 4mm higher aswell. If thats the case then all i need is a 4mm spacer to lift the barrel up to correct height.

anyone got a photo of a IT 175 piston? i wonder how a DT 175 piston compares?

did you mean to say pre 81?

the yam piston is shorter in both dirrections of the piston pin that could be adjusted be machining the bottom of the barrel and as far i know the it and dt175 run the same bore and stroke even the same crank and rod and i think earlier non reed valve pistons from ct1 175's would work maybe Nathan s could shed some light on this as he's a yamaha fan and knows what goes with what
