Aaagghhh DJ  you have done it again that looks like a lot of fun and sounds like a good piss up too . How do you get from one island to the other ( scuze my ignorance) and how far to travel for meetings ?. I'm thinking of immigrating .!

Inter-Island ferry between Wellington (north) and Picton (south), takes a couple of hours. Each island is about a 12 hour drive end to end with the south island being the larger of the two. For example, if you live in Invercargill and want to ride at Golden bay outside Nelson you would be looking at a 11-12 hour drive depending on which way you go and how fast you drive  ;D

Very good answers Cyclegod. Yeah from where I live, we had a 2.5hr drive to Wellington, then a 3hr boat trip sitting in the bar, and then a 1hr drive to where we were staying which was 3km from the track and 500m away from the local pub. The walk home from the after-match function wasnt easy ;D. We could have done with some of those blenders of the Kevlar Klub at about 3am but hey ya cant have everthing ;D. Where we stayed is a beautiful place.

Looking at the South Island from the bar of the ferry ;D

The ferry coming into Picton via the Sounds

Picton port

One of the many little beaches on the way to where we stayed

The VMX haulers

Some of the North Island VMX Team

Just some of the views on the 1hr drive  8) ;D

Arrowtown and its surrounds were where I did most of my riding, Macetown run was a nice 20k trail with 36 river crossings  ;D

Hilly,

After looking at these photos I'm thinking of immigrating too ;D.  I'm sure we can both get used to calling things "jandals" and "chilly bins" Bro  :D :D
I could certainly get used to some of the awesome race tracks and what seems like great camaraderie (had to spell check that one - still not sure it's right).
Looking for YZ250C parts NOS if possible

The only triple jumps he would have been doing are the hop, skip & jump.
