My MX heroes around 1979-80'.

I can identify Mark Hill, Trevor Williams, Jack Pengelly, Stephen Gall, Ray "Goof" Vandenberg, Ron Dinsdale.........anyone ID the KTM MC and Husky rider (Granqvist/Carlqvist?)?

The Husky rider is Pelle Granquist, could it be Gary Flood on the KTM?

I would go with Gary Flood,who's that on the YZ250 #1 is it Mike Landman?

There was another rider back then who rode Yamaha's and was a front runner, Darryl Willoughby from NSW.

I don't think Willoughby was from NSW. I think he's from SA.

Jack Pengelly isnt there,nor Darrly Willoughby and there is one rider there that no one has mentioned.

What about the tracks?

Yer I reckon you are right there Mate, you can just see the #13 and the riding gear colors are right for him.

I did have photo's of Jack Pengelly on RM's but didnt post them.
Jack Appears on the KTM 4 stroke in my other posting on early 4 stroke MX.

I am unsure of the track and will try to get in touch with the photographer. I dont think it is Broadford.

#2 is the ledgend Anthony Gunter , in 79 .I was waiting for someone else to piont it out.

The middle pics with Goof and Gally are Broadford.Maybe some of the others too.
The pics with the tent in the background might be Wallan.

Landman and Hilly with all the trees are at either Longwarry or Ravenswood I reckon.

Photo's

1,2,3,6,7,8,9,10 all look like they could be at Wallan,and 4,5 are Broadford I would say 83 the year Goof won Mr MX photo 9 that would be Pacey and Gary Flood for sure,

Can anyone name the pitboarders in the pic with Ronnie Dinsdale? 8)
