Yep I have shown the photo to dad and we reckon it is him no21. He only ever rode that bike once but cant remember who owned it. Thinks the track is Maryborough ( Moonlight Park) in about 68 or 9

Yeah it is the old fella now that I look at it Tony. Being the matriach of Bendigo fashion, your mum must cringe to see him race in an old school jumper ;D. I look forward to catching up with you guys at the Nats.....

It says to upgrade to Pro so I suspect you were using some sort of freebie introduction deal that expires after a certain time with Photo Bucket  Dave. I use Village Photos http://www.villagephotos.com/default.aspx and pay for the Plan C ($35 for 6 months) and haven't had a problem in 3 years...........

Sharpie was a larger than life character and was a mentor to a lot of novice speedway riders in the late 60's and 70's, including my brother & I.
I wonder if he is still kicking?
I remember him telling us down at the nepean river after a stinking hot race day that one of his philosophies of life was to eat heaps of steak and drink plenty of coke, "live like mongrel dog".
